Student Professional Email Setup
Purpose:
By the end of Senior year, all seniors are expected to produce a Professional Portfolio that will help guide them in their next steps after high school. Having a professional email that students can use for job applications, college applications, scholarship applications, networking, etc. is a pivotal part of the Professional Portfolio.

DIRECTIONS:
Step # 1: CLICK HERE to access the Gmail account setup. Follow the directions to create a FREE gmail account.

If you already have a PROFESSIONAL email account, then move onto Step #2. You do NOT have to use Gmail; however, you will need to be able to save all of your Professional Portfolio artifacts electronically and NOT on your desktop. A free gmail account also comes with free space to save electronic files.
Step # 2:
Guidelines:
- Your email MUST be professional!
- Use your first and last name if possible
- If you need to add numbers or other information, be sure it's easy and professional.

- Send Mrs. Neer an email @[email protected] from your professional gmail account.
- Subject line: Your FIRST and LAST name (in Pearson Online Classroom)
- Body: Your Do, Be, and Have
- What do you want to do? (Activities, hobbies, travel, etc.)
- What do you want to be? (Identities: career, partnerships, parenthood, community involvement, athletics, etc.)
- What do you want to have? [Think about both material objects (house, car, pets, etc.) and spiritual drivers (happiness, faith, community, belonging, etc.) ]
